Description
The graphic works of Klara Kracina are characterised by a strong, expressive line, stretched figures and occasionally grotesquely mutilated faces. These are sometimes also complemented by funny or ironic inscriptions, resulting in the piece as a whole appearing humorous rather than threatening. The figures are often surrounded by collaged pieces or a drawn frame, filled by hypnotic dashes and thereby further emphasizing the expressiveness of the whole.
