Description
Peter Ferlan divides his time between illustration, graphic design and animation, which is also reflected in his colourful characters, coming to life through various line thicknesses, textures, shading and colour gradients. In the series All Things Wild, he depicted animals in various cutouts, mostly surrounded by flora and seemingly staring at the camera – caught in the moment or posing for the artist. The portrayees thus appear almost human, which makes them seem somewhat unusual and comical – the humorous approach is characteristic of the author’s treatment of motifs.
