Te Sera grew up in the artistic environment of Trieste, Italy, and immediately expressed a great deal of interest in music, dance and drawing. In 2013, she started studying illustration at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design, developing an interest in alternative public spaces and forms of social organisation. This led her to explore spatial environments and public spaces through visual and dance interventions. Using her primary inspiration, the embodied nature of perception and how movement influences it, she creates pieces that include archetypes of the unconscious and abstract forms with a touch of aesthetics. She was the resident of the DobraVaga Open Studio from January to March 2017.
