Peter Ferlan (1990) is a postgraduate student of Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. He works in illustration, animation and graphic design. As of 2013, he is one of the founders and the editor of illustration of the freštreš collective. He received the Slovenian Animated Film Association Award for his first animated film Morning Routine in 2018, screening it at festivals around Europe. He addresses the eternal question of how to depict bizarre, difficult and surprising things through humour? He does not seek inspiration; rather, inspiration finds him. He has held exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
