Urška Alič (1987) finished M.A. studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and has been working independently in the fields of graphic design and screen printing for several years. In her own work, she explores the relations and tensions between shapes, surfaces, shadows and transparency, translating the resulting relationships to paper and cloth using screen and Risograph printing. She was featured as part of the DobraVaga Gallery Zine Vitrine series in September 2017 (A Light Here Required a Shadow There.), as well as contributed pieces to the Fresh Fish exhibition series. In July 2019, her solo exhibition was featured in Nantes, France. She is part of the Ljubljana-based Riso Paradiso collective, along with five other designers and illustrators.
