Iza Pavlina explores the themes of pornography and sexuality and is intrigued by the similarities between the position of an artist and a worker in the pornographic industry. Her artistic work is based on creating fictitious identities on various online platforms and establishing communication with online users. In the series This Image Has Been Masturbated To, she created self-portrait drawing from her online recordings, in which she staged unusual sexual fetishes. She sent the drawings to her fans, receiving their responses in the form of explicit photographs or cum tributes in return, adding them to the reverse side of the digital prints of the above-mentioned drawings.
