Anka Doblekar lives and works in Ljubljana, where she also graduated in Graphic Technology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering. During her studies, she began working with artistic graphics and advanced her knowledge in the field through courses at the International Center of Graphic Arts. She works with linocut, dry needle, etching, aquatint, screen printing and other techniques. The starting point for her graphics is usually a drawing; the lines and shapes, woven into images, gain their own, technique-specific characteristics during the graphic process. She draws inspiration from stories, nature and everything that surrounds her. Her graphic works have been featured in several group exhibitions, and she also regularly holds workshops in various graphic techniques for both children and adults.
