Kapitan Kolačkov (1988) is a former student of the Faculty of Architecture and the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (ALUO), who prefers to bet on informal education and the eternal quest for inspiration. During his studies, he participated in a group exhibit by ALUO students in 2013, titled Understanding photography. In 2014, he presented his first solo exhibition, “Prdnem ti ga pod nos da vohaš me skos”, as part of a series of exhibitions at the BIKOFE cafe. He is a member of the 1107 KLAN graffiti art group, actively participating in the organization of workshops and exhibitions. The collective’s most recent group graphic was presented in 2015, for the LIMITED EDIT111ONS project. That same year, he and a group of friends founded the UAUU Universal Atelier of Street Art in Ljubljana, where, a few months later, he successfully carried out the I’ll be Out of Your Face in Sex Days pop-up exhibition. Recently, he has been actively exploring and learning color scarring, as well as focusing on illustration. In his essence, he is an eternal hedonist.
