Marko Lekič – Mleko (1989), a 4th year student at the Faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, unveiled his first solo exhibition, Strange Thoughts, in 2012. During his studies, he participated in a two-day student architectural project about community and participative urban planning, Beyond a Construction Site, in which, together with the residents of the Tabor neighborhood and the Obrat Association, and under the mentorship of Professor Mathias Heyden, they transformed an abandoned construction pit at Resljeva ulica street in Ljubljana into an urban city garden. During the Tabor neighborhood’s open days, he participated in the presentation of graffiti art from Bavarski dvor to the Tabor park (Slomškova ulica street), titled Tagging = Pissing, with the exhibition of selected works by Ljubljana graffiti artists displaying the difference between tagging and graffiti. In 2011, he interned at the Thonet family’s internal design studio and store in Vienna. In December 2014, he and six of his friends founded the UAUU Universal Atelier of Street Art in Ljubljana. Since then, they have hosted a new exhibition every month. On his own, he works on various creative projects, while as a group, they have presented themselves at three Ljubljana festivals so far. Currently he is preparing for his second solo exhibition. In addition, he has spent every summer since his 15th birthday as a volunteer swimming teacher in Bol on the Dalmatian island of Brač.
